Day 324 – Out in Knutsford

On this evening hubby and I went for a meal out in Knutsford. It was the first time since we moved, that we went out in town.

Knutsford is a very nice town, full of lovely restaurants and shops. The photo below was taken while we were walking around the streets, looking for a place to eat.

Day 280 – Paella

Paella is my favourite Spanish dish. I had this delicious dish when we went to Etruria, a Mediterranean restaurant in Knutsford. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside and enjoyed the last of the summer weather. The drinks and food were great, we both had a fab time!

Day 166 – The Fun Fair

On day 166, after I arrived from work we made our way to a Fun Fair in Knutsford. It was getting dark when we got there and decided to have a look around before choosing what rides or games we wanted to do. We went to the mirror house, the haunted house, ate lots of candy floss and had a go at fishing some ducks…with no luck 😦

Neither of us are very good with fast rides but we had lots of fun looking at other people having a go at them!

Here is a picture of one of the rides, just looking how high it went made me weak at the knees!

Day 121 – Tatton Park

I have to apologize for the lack of posts over the last few days. I finished working on my website on Wednesday and it is all ready! You can access it through the navigation on this page, any feedback would be very greatly appreciated.

On Wednesday I took the day off work to spend it with hubby and to finish my site (Hubby is away this weekend). We went for a walk around Tatton Park and after we had lunch in Knutsford. We went to a Turkish restaurant called Istanbul Grill. The food was delicious and it was great spending the morning with him.

I took lots of pictures around Tatton Park but the two below are my favourite of the bunch. I was hoping to take some pictures of the deer but we couldn’t find them. Oh well! Maybe next time 🙂

Day 41 – The Marble Pillar

Today’s picture was taken in Knutsford. King Street, one of the main roads, has a marble pillar standing tall above all the other buildings. It is a very popular restaurant now but was originally built in 1907 by a glove merchant.

Day 16 – King Canute, who forded the Lily Stream

Knutsford is a lovely Georgian Market Town situated in Cheshire. Today’s pictures were taken on one of its main roads. We were on our way back from booking our Christmas Meal when I noticed their beautiful Christmas lights and decided to stop to take a picture.

I couldn’t decide which I liked best so decided to post two pictures one in colour and one monochrome! Which one you prefer?
