After not being able to take a picture the day before, this afternoon I went out to Marbury Park with hubby for a long walk. We went there a little earlier so we wouldn’t get attacked by midges. It was a lovely afternoon, weather was still very nice and it stayed warm until we were on our way home. I took lots of pictures, it was very hard choosing one so I’ve asked for hubby’s help and he chose today’s picture. 🙂
After a hectic morning trying to sort things around, we went for a drive and a walk. It was on our way home that I saw the scene pictured below. I asked hubby to stop the car (in a safe place) and I got out to take pictures. One of things I love the most about photography is finding moments like this, moments in which you have to take your camera out and somehow make that beautiful moment last forever. I hope that as time goes by I will be able to make more justice of this beautiful moments and capture it just as perfect as they are. Here is my picture for day 256 🙂
Our early evening walks have changed a little, daylight is lingering for longer which is fantastic. I don’t really like walking in the dark, you can’t see what you stepping on or what creepy crawlers are about. Sunday evening we went for a short walk around the canal, I was hoping to see some wildlife but we didn’t have much luck. We saw lots of canal boats though.
Only 182 days left to go!
I am half way through my Project 365. It has been very difficult; especially the last couple of weeks but I am still here, taking pictures and writing about it. Here we go for another 182 days more!
My picture today is of a little butterfly I found under our fireplace. I am not sure how long it has been there, it looked a bit dusty so my guess is a few months. It still looks very pretty and delicate. Here is my favourite shot of the night 🙂
I will be on my way to Cornwall tomorrow and will be there until Sunday so no more posts from me until then 🙂 Happy weekend to everyone!
We got this little Fern plant a couple of years ago after hubby saw a fern tree in our local garden centre. He pointed at the tree and said: “oh! they looked like monkey tails!”. He really liked how unusual the tree looked so we went over and looked for the price. It was very expensive so we got a Fern plant instead which looks just as cool as the tree.
On day 164, we spent all afternoon tidying up our garden. When we were done we went back inside and as we were closing the back doors, we noticed a little robin had landed on the Wisteria. It then started picking some of the seeds we had put outside. It kept flying away and then coming back for more. In one of it trips back I took this picture 🙂
