Day 154 – Hulme Hall

On Monday hubby asked me to go with him to see this property that he had found for sale. He didn’t say much about it, just that I needed to wait and see. The property is located in Allostock and it dates back to the 15th Century. Hulme Hall used to be moated (it has been partially filled) and it has a stone bridge that leads to a large brick house. Not much remains of the house now, it has sadly decayed over the last few years. Below is my picture for day 154.

Note: The house has now been sold and I hope that whoever bought it will be able to bring some its former glory back. If you would like to see some pictures of what it used to look in the year 2000 click here.
